"丢脸"怎么说？
Have you made a spectacle of yourself running after a man whos not in love with you.
你难道不明白，追一个不爱你的男人有多丢脸？
笔记：
make a spectacle of oneself是一个固定表达，意思是"丢脸；出丑；出洋相"。比如词典中这句：
Dont make a spectacle of yourself.
你不要出洋相。
《马男波杰克》第一季中也有句台词是这么说的：
Diane, you are making a public spectacle of yourself.
戴安，不要再当众出丑了。

"找个丈夫"怎么说？
Why is it a girl has to be so silly to catch a husband?
女孩为何那么傻非得找个丈夫？
高斋笔记：
catch a husband意思是"找个丈夫"，法国作家西蒙娜·波伏娃（Simone de Beauvoir）曾说过这样一句话：
To catch a husband is an art; to hold him is a job.
吸引男人是一门艺术，守住男人是一门差事，毫无趣味。

"保守秘密"怎么说？
But dont worry, your secret is safe with me.
别担心，我会保守秘密的。
笔记：
your secret is safe with me在口语中经常见到，意思是"你的秘密在我这儿很安全；我会保密的；我不会说出去的"。
《绯闻女孩》中也有句类似的台词：
Lily: My kids have to know first.
我得先让孩子知道。
Bart: Well, your secrets safe with me.
我不会说出去的。
"保守秘密"还可以说keep secrets，所以"我会保守秘密的"也可以说I will keep secrets。

"没一点兴趣"怎么说？
But dont worry, your secret is safe with me.
我对淑女没一点兴趣。
笔记：
hold charms for sb表示"对……有吸引力；对……有兴趣；对……来说有魅力"。
《乱世佳人》中瑞德还有一句台词是这么说的：
If you and your bed still held any charms for me, no looks and no entreaties could keep me away.
如果你和你的床对我还有什么魅力的话，你无论是枷锁，还是恳求，都是拦不住我的。

"刻薄"怎么说？
1. I think youre being very mean to her.
你这话说得太刻薄点了。
笔记：
mean to sb表示"对某人刻薄；对某人吝啬；对某人苛刻"。
《这个杀手不太冷》中就有这么一句台词：
Why did you so mean to me?I need love,or die.
你为什么对我如此吝啬？我需要爱，或是死亡？
mean to sb还可以表示"对某人重要"，比如金融时报上这句话：
You captured so much of the magic of living in Tokyo and how much the city can come to mean to you.
你描绘出了在东京生活的魔力，写出了这个城市对你是多么重要。

"崩溃"怎么说？
In spite of you, me and the whole silly world going to pieces around us...I love you...
就算整个世界和你我都成了碎片，我也爱你。
笔记：
go to pieces表示"成为碎片；崩溃；垮掉"。
电影《当风吹起的时候》中有一句台词是这么说的：
He... He wont go to pieces. The whole family will... will stick together.
他……不会被炸成碎片的。整个大家庭将……将会团结在一起。
再比如，塞勒斯特有一句名言是这么说的：
By agreement small things grow; by discord great things go to pieces.
合则小事能成，不合则大事必毁。

"勉强填饱肚子"怎么说？
Here I slave day and night just so we can have food to keep body and soul together.
我从早到晚干活才能勉强吃饱肚子。
笔记：
slave day and night表示"日夜苦干；从早到晚干活"；keep body and soul together是一个固定表达，意思是"勉强糊口；勉强填饱肚子"。
如新闻报道旧时农奴制时有句话是这么说的：
The serfs engaged in hard labor year in and year out and yet had no guaranteed food or clothing. Often they had to rely on money borrowed at usury to keep body and soul together.
农奴成年累月地辛勤劳动，却连温饱也得不到保障，经常要靠借高利贷勉强糊口。

"债台高筑"怎么说？
My debts do mount up, dont they, Major?
我可要债台高筑了。

笔记：
mount up在这里表示"增加；增多"之意。My debts do mount up中的do表示强调，意思是"债台高筑；负债累累"，词典中有个类似的句子：
I am appalled that children can mount up debts unbeknown to their parents
让我深感震惊的是，孩子们竟会背着父母欠债累累。
《权力的游戏》中有句台词也出现了这个短语，表示"上马"之意，它是这么说的：
"You have my thanks, lady," Tyrion said, mounting up.
"夫人，谢谢您。"提利昂说着爬上马。

"还有脸来见我"怎么说？
I dont see how you have the gall to face me!
你还有脸来见我。
笔记：
have the gall to do sth在口语中经常会见到，意思是"有脸做某事；有胆量做某事"。
《乱世佳人》中不止一处出现了这个短语，比如这两处台词：
" On the contrary! How have you the gall to face me" ?
"正好相反！你怎么还敢见我呢？"
And to think that Rhett would have the gall to look a decent woman in the face after being with that creature!
想想看，瑞德居然有胆量在跟那个贱货厮混过以后，再来同一位正经妇女会面呢！

"羡慕妒忌死"怎么说？
I want everybody whos been mean to me to be pea-green with envy.
让看不起我们的人妒忌死，羡慕死。
笔记：
be pea-green的意思是"浅绿色；豆绿色"，《乱世佳人》中还有一处孩子眼睛的描写就用到了这个词：
Rhett leaning over the child had said: " Her eyes are going to be pea green" .
瑞德弯腰看着孩子说："她的眼睛一定是豆绿色的。"
be pea-green with envy字面意思是嫉妒的眼睛都绿了，其实就是我们平常说的"嫉妒死羡慕死；嫉妒使人面目全非"的意思。
"嫉妒死"也可以说be dying of jealousy，《生活大爆炸》第五季第18集有一句台词就是这么说的：
Oh, my God, Im an astronaut, and youre dying of jealousy.
噢，天啊，我是宇航员，你快嫉妒死了！
小说结尾斯嘉丽的那句话最为经典，激励了无数人：
After all...tomorrow is another day.
明天毕竟...又是新的一天！
